Face & Neck Lift - Case #27

Our wonderful patient had a lower face & neck lift performed back in 2007 with a different surgeon. Although she was happy with her front appearance for the first several years, she was hoping for a more dramatic improvement for her side profile. As time continued, volume loss occurred under her eyes, nasolabial folds and jowls along with skin laxity that developed under her eyes. 

Our surgical plan involved a full face & neck lift with a lower blepharoplasty (skin pinch) and fat grafting to all volume loss areas. With our fat grafting, I used the same amount of fat that would be needed with a traditional Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based filler (i.e. Juvederm or Restylane). However, fat is not only a more permanent solution, but it does not hold on to water like HA fillers which provides a more natural result. She loves her soft and natural but more youthful results now!
