Heidi Hargrove
Practice Administrator
Heidi is a Nashville native who joined Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute in March 2022. She comes to us with over 5 years of experience both clinically, as a registered nurse, and administratively in the Dermatology and Aesthetics industry. Heidi has a passion for leadership and loves to inspire and motivate her team! She currently lives in Eagleville, Tennessee, and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She spends the majority of her spare time with her husband, two kids, and fur baby (Scooby). If you can’t find her here at NPSI, you will probably find her at Disney World (her home away from home)! She also loves traveling, Disney (again!), the beach, and a good rom-com!
Sophie Brady
Patient Care Coordinator
Sophie was born in Auckland, New Zealand but was raised in Northern California for most of her life. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in public health and then following graduation, took the leap and moved herself to Nashville. She came to NPSI with over a year of Plastic Surgery experience and has been a part of the team at Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute since 2022. When she’s not at work, you can find her attending an Orange Theory class, baking a sweet treat, or spending time with her husband and their dog, Neala.
Nicole Johnson
Patient Care Coordinator II
With more than a decade of experience in the aesthetic industry, including over 10 years working in the fast-paced Los Angeles market, Nicole brings a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and patient care. She began her career as an esthetician before moving into leadership and marketing, where she spent the last four years focusing on plastic surgery. For her, the most rewarding part of her career is watching patients transform and gain confidence through their journey.
After recently relocating to Nashville, she’s excited to bring her West Coast experience to a new community. When she’s not helping patients feel their best, you can usually find her spending time with her 5-year-old daughter, Everly, or relaxing with a Bravo reality show marathon.
Kandice Whitman
Clinical Nurse
Kandice is a Nashville native who joined Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute in March of 2017. She comes to us with over 9 years of experience in Dermatology. Being a mother of two boys, Kandice finds herself spending time outdoors watching her boys play football. In her spare time, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends, listening to her favorite artist Thomas Rhett, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers!
Ashlynn Hagood, OR RN
Clinic & Operating Room RN
Ashlynn was originally born in Florida but grew up in Louisiana and made the move to Nashville in early 2020. She has been a registered nurse for over 5 years and joined NPSI in 2022. She has experience in both the clinic and operating room. When she’s not working, you’ll usually find her with family — whether she’s visiting her parents in sunny Florida, chasing her wild-spirited toddler named Millie, or simply enjoying a slow morning with her husband, Alex. She’s also an avid needlepointer, always has a good book nearby, and enjoys shopping.
Gianna Wood
Front Desk Coordinator
Gianna was born and raised in Fresno, California. After earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology from San Diego State University, she was ready for a change of pace and relocated to Nashville. Before joining NPSI in 2026, Gianna was previously a patient of Dr. Unger’s and experienced firsthand the exceptional care provided by the practice. Gianna is passionate about creating a positive experience for every patient and helping ensure they feel welcomed and supported throughout their care journey. Outside of work, she enjoys taking Pilates classes at BodyRok, exploring Nashville’s newest restaurants, and spending time with her dog, Sadie.
Rebecca Milligan
Research Coordinator (Part-time)
Rebecca has been part of the Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute team since 2015. She joined our staff when her family relocated to Nashville from the Pacific Northwest. Rebecca has an MBA, and BS in Nutrition, and also graduated Cum Laude. She works as our Clinical Trials Coordinator. Honestly, she is a jack-of-all-trades, filling in wherever needed. Before moving to Nashville, Rebecca was an Instructor and Grant Writer at Big Bend Community College in Washington. She has two daughters and together they enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Rebecca enjoys boating and gardening, and she is also a bookworm. On her day off you will certainly find her out on Old Hickory wakeboarding!
Kelly Unger
Director of Marketing
Kelly grew up in Houston, Texas, but has spent a significant amount of time in Nashville over the years, since her extended family lives here. It has been amazing to watch the city of Nashville transform into the sophisticated city it is today, and she now calls Nashville home. Before moving to Nashville, she lived in New York, Dallas, and Paris, France. Kelly graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Marketing. She has loved getting to know the wonderful patients of Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute and is constantly inspired by them. Kelly is the mom to two very active boys, Hudson & Graham, with a little girl on the way. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking many of the beautiful Nashville trails, and making a mean green smoothie.

Kimberly Parks
Aesthetic Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
Kimberly was born and raised in Nashville, TN. She joined the NPSI team in January of 2022. She has worked in the medical field for 25+ years, with the last 5 years in Dermatology and Aesthetics. She is married with one son and has a sweet pup, Dawson. When she is not working, she enjoys walking/running with her husband, Todd, and bringing their pup along. Kimberly also enjoys trying out new healthy recipes in the kitchen and traveling to the beach and the mountains, but enjoys her home life even more. You will more than likely be greeted by her bright and friendly smile when you visit The Aesthetic Center here at NPSI!
Amanda Allen
Medical Aesthetician
Amanda is a Nashville native who joined Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute in January 2022. She comes to us with over 5 years of experience as a board-certified Medical Aesthetician. Her passion for skincare and overall health and wellness inspired her transition in 2017 from a lucrative career in sales and event management to a more personally rewarding career in the field of Aesthetics. Educating patients about skincare is her mission as an Aesthetician. Seeing the beautiful results her patients achieve after receiving treatment or after starting a prescribed regimen—that’s the reward. There is nothing Amanda loves more than developing long-term relationships with patients and helping them reach their skincare goals and dreams. When you look good and feel good, she has done her job!

Brooklyn Bailey
Certified Surgical Technologist
Brooke is from Russellville, Kentucky, born and raised. She has been in the plastic surgery industry for over 3 years as a Certified Surgical Technologist, and overall has been in the medical field for 10 years. Brooke joined NPSI in August 2022 and we couldn’t be more thrilled for her to join our team! She has 3 children who always keep her on her toes and when she is not in the operating room, you can find her enjoying time with her family at the lake or attending her children’s sporting events.
Pam Duncan
First Assistant
Pam joined Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute in 2010. She is an RN First Assistant with 41 years of surgical experience. Upon graduating from nursing school, she went to work in surgery at Centennial Medical Center (formerly Parkview Hospital) where she worked until 2018, eight of those years working at both Centennial Medical Center and Nashville Plastic Surgery Institute. Pam enjoys spending time with her two precious grandchildren, playing tennis, and cheering on her Tennessee VOLS!!!
Kristi Pope, OR RN
OR RN
Kristi was born and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. In 2008, she moved to Nashville, where she lives with her husband and their 2 miniature dachshunds, Hank and Gertie. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2000 and brings over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in the operating room. In 2021, she transitioned from hospital nursing to the plastic surgery field where she thoroughly enjoys her work. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending her free time with family, doing pottery, and traveling.
Summer Blakeley, RN
Operating Room
Summer was born and raised in Springfield, TN, but moved to Nashville over 20 years ago and considers Nashville home. She is an RN and joined NPSI in 2019. Summer came to us with over 7 years of clinic OR experience. She graduated from Belmont University, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work and later went back and completed her bachelor’s of science in nursing. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and spending time with her precious daughter, Ella.
Taylor Goodwin
Certified Surgical Technologist
Taylor was born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where she currently lives. She joined the NPSI team in August of 2022. She comes to us with 3+ years in the medical field as a Certified Surgical Technologist. When she is not in the Operating Room you can find her spending time with her husband, daughter, and two golden retrievers, Cooper and Miller.
